FULL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for carrying out Well Head Integrity Testing and Maintenance on all wells to ensure compliance with Well Operations Standards and to report any abnormalities to the Satellite Superintendent and onshore Well Intervention and Integrity Team for corrective action.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Carry out annual and 6-monthly Wellhead integrity monitoring and testing campaigns for all the wells in the Company’s fields including functionality and leak tests on downhole safety valves, wellhead and Xmas tree valves (manual and actuated) and annuli.
2.Prepare Task Risk Assessments (TRA), Permit to Work (PTW) and Job packs well in advance for all well integrity tests and follow offshore and onshore PTW procedures.
3.Carry out periodic and unplanned wells’ monitoring, maintenance and routine inspections for all wells depending on their integrity status.
4.Troubleshoot any component that failed the test(s), prepare a summary reports of tests as detailed in the Procedure and communicate issues to the Satellite Superintendent and Well Integrity Engineering team for corrective actions and mitigations.
5.Raise Work Requests or Work Orders as required for corrective maintenance for wellhead valves.
6.Maintain records of all well integrity testing and inspection related documentation. Ensure that all records and reports are posted and updated in the database and distributed to the involved parties.
7.Coordinate with responsible offshore team for a timely close out of corrective maintenance.
8.Carry out corrosion repairs on wellhead and Xmas trees. Prepare the Wellhead and Xmas Tree Corrosion and Damage Report. If any corrosion repair needs to be addressed, report and resolve the issue in a timely manner.
9.Prepare a weekly plan with the weekly Loss of Production Opportunities (LPO) to the well intervention and integrity team onshore and discuss. Ensure discussion/meeting is held with production teams onshore and offshore to align planned well shut down with integrity jobs to minimise oil losses.
10.Maintain an inventory of consumables, tools and equipment for well head maintenance and testing that is required to support and run operations with minimum down time. Ensure certification are kept up to date.
11.Perform echometers in tubing and annulus to identify the fluid level. Review the echometer with the support of engineering onshore and file the reports in the database.
12.Supervise and participate in the execution of work with wellhead services company (such as FMC, Cameron, Vetco Gray) for replacement of lock down screws, well head pack off test, installation of “VR” plug, change out of annulus valves, sealant injection, Abnormal Casing Pressure (ACP) diagnostic test on Wellheads.
13.Eventually, if required, support Satellite Superintendent (Wells) for routine well operations such as well testing, well opening and managing activities at Normally Unmanned Installation’s (NUI) in the absence of Production Operator.
14.Understand, follow and implement HSE policy and procedures. Actively participate in Company‘s safety programs.
EXPERIENCE
•Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the oil industry preferably in an offshore environment with proven experience in production of artificial lifted wells and water injectors.
•Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Well Integrity. Knowledge of Wellhead / Xmas tree equipment, operation and/or maintenance of wellheads and well head equipment
QUALIFICATIONS
•Completion of secondary education / Technical diploma
•Bachelor of Science or a Diploma in mechanical, chemical or petrochemical (preferred but not mandatory).
